  1. How do we know if the order has been confirmed?

Once the payment has been made successfully, you will receive an confirmation mail with the order ID to your registered e-mail address. Please make sure to check your spam as well. Kindly use this ID for any further communication / reference with us related to that particular order. Please reach out to help@quillsandspills.in for any further queries regarding the order.

  1. When will my order be shipped?

No. We require a minimum of 3-5 working days for processing the orders. Since we have to ensure quality, kindly give us the stated timelines in order to check and pack your order with utmost care. Please check out our Shipping & Delivery Policy for further details.

  1. Do you take up same day / Next day delivery?
    We usually require a minimum of 3-5 working days for processing the orders. However please reach out to us on 9840714693 via whatsapp or ping us on Instagram to see if we will be able to accommodate same day delivery. Please note, This depends on the location and will be at extra cost.
  2. How will I know the status of my shipment?

Once the order has been shipped, you will receive an e-mail regarding the order shipment update which contains the shipment number with a hyper link for online tracking of the same. If you do not receive the shipment within expected timelines [Refer Shipping & Delivery Policy ], please get in touch with us.

  1. When will my product be delivered?

The following is the estimated Delivery schedule (In days). Please note this is just an indication and incase of any delays the same would be handled on a case to case basis:

Ready in stock items (Jewellery, Sarees, Return Gifts etc) Estimated delivery schedule - 

  • TN [3-5 working days], 
  • South India [3-5 working days], 
  • Rest of India [5-7 working days]
  • North Eastern India & Northern most India [7-10 Working days]

If a product is a PRE ORDER then we will intimate the timelines while placing the order.

  1. Can you postpone the dispatch of my order?

Yes we can do it on best effort basis, subject to the order is not already dispatched. Please write to us from your registered e-mail ID along with the Order ID & your preferred date of shipment. Please refer to the SHipping & Delivery Policy

  1. How to change the delivery address after order placement?

Yes we can do it on best effort basis, subject to the order is not already dispatched. Please write to us from your registered e-mail ID along with the Order ID & your change of address. Please note that the address need written in full.

  1. What happens when a product gets returned?

Giving the correct address is the responsibility of the customer and we do not have a mechanism to check the same. Therefore we will put the good faith on the address shared by the Customer and ship the product. Incase if the product gets returned due to any issue with respect to the address then the reshipping cost has to be borne by the customer. Our team will reach out to you with the reshipping cost and the product will be reshipped once the same is paid.

  1. What to do if I receive a damaged product?
    Each item is cleared off a quality check before packing and will be packed with utmost care before shipment. Therefore chances of receiving a damaged product are very less. However in case of receipt of damaged items Please do follow the steps as mentioned in the Cancellation, Return and Refunds Policy.
  2. Do you have COD (Cash On Delviery)?

As of now Quills & Spills does not have COD facility

Orders placed can be cancelled within 2 Hours with 8% cancellation charges and not anytime later as we start to process your order.

GENERAL  FAQS

  1. Will the product shown in the image be delivered as it is?
    Yes. The Pictures of the products shown in the images are the best representation of the product and has been taken in natural lighting. Therefore what you see is what you will receive, However there may be minor colour variation due to the photography and the lighting. Colors may vary based upon your screen resolution/brightness and other settings. Quills & Spills shall not be responsible for such variations.
  2. What is the Size of the product?
    The approximate dimensions of the products are being displayed under the product image along with the other details of the product. In order to help the customers with the sizing we have also provided a sizing chart and necklace guide in Inches and Cms. Kindly refer the same before you place an order. Click here to check Size Chart.
  3. Do I have to create an account mandatorily to buy products?
    Account creation is not mandatory. You can shop anytime with us as guest login. However, we suggest you to create an account with us so that you don’t have to enter your details each time you shop with us. Also,it allows you to view and update your account and orders any time through “My Account” after you sign in to your account.
  4. Is there any guarantee for products?
    WE DO NOT PROVIDE ANY GUARANTEE/WARRANTY FOR THE FANCY JEWELRY INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO GERMAN SILVER AND IMITATION JEWELRY. However, we strive to provide you the best quality products and that most of our products are handcrafted by rural artisans across India. Please refer to Jewellery Care for tips on how to maintain the jewelry. This will help in the longevity of the product.
  5. What are the products made of?
    The handcrafted German Silver products are made of Brass with a copper mix handcrafted by rural artisans. They are premium products hence the cost corresponds to the quality we provide. We also stock fancy quality German silver on rotational basis which are made of iron.
    In case of imitation jewelry, all our imitation jewelries are Copper based and may or may not have matte finish based on the product model.
  6. Is German silver & Pure Silver the same?
    No. German Silver based only of brass/copper/iron and does not contain any silver component it in. When ever an item is made of Pure silver we will be explicitly mentioning as Pure silver/925 silver/92.5 % silver in the description. Please watch out for the same.


  1. Is Imitation jewelry means gold plated?
    No. Imitation jewelry is not gold plated or gold dipped and does not have any content of gold in it. It is made of Brass / copper and is non replishable. In case of any such repolishable contents the same will be explicitly mentioned in the description. No imitation jewelry is replishable unless specifically mentioned in the product description. Please check the product description before placing the orders.

ABOUTS QUILLS & SPILLS

  1. Where is your shop?
    We are an online store and we do not have a shop. We do have a Inhouse studio where we take appointments for a visit. Please reach out to us via help@quillsandspills.in for booking your appointments.
  2. Do you take Custom Orders?
    Custom Orders are based on the Model and the budget of a customer. Please reach out to us at help@quillsandspills.in for further discussion.
  3. Can you send pics to my WhatsApp number/Email?
    Unfortunately No, Due to growing number of enquiries, we may not be able to send across individual pictures to WhatsApp/email except in case of made to order/pre-order items. We request you to check our website for available products and prices as we update our site regularly. We can send you product links if you have difficulty finding them.
  4. Is the WhatsApp number available for calls? Can I call to discuss a query?
    As of now we do not have a dedicated customer care number to cater. We are a small team who are working relentlessly to deliver every order of yours, But you will be able to reach out to us in the following channels and we will respond to you within the below mentioned timelines.

  1. Can you intimate us when the product is restocked?
    Due to the overwhelming volume of enquiries we receive, it is as of now not possible for us to do an individual intimation when products are restocked. However please switch on the “Notify me” option against a product on the website & also Please do sign up for out newsletter in order to get notified of the new launches, Restocks & other cool offers.

  1. Do you WhatsApp broadcast group? How do we know about the new collection Launch?

As of now we only have a newsletter (Which you can sign up for at the beginning of the website) and we will also make sure to post about any new launch on all of our social media channels. Please have an eye out for the same.
